POSITION:Senior Stock AnalystDESCRIPTION:Analyze the performance of companies, industries, and sectors in which they have investment interests and provide insights from conducting comprehensive financial analysis to identify optimal investment strategies. Conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. Interpret analyze data on market, economic, and political events that may affect the portfolio of companies. Gather data necessary, including using domain knowledge of companies across sectors in these markets to grasp the investment crux of multiple companies, to prepare, update, and maintain internal and external presentation materials, as well as prepare financial research reports on companies owned or under consideration for purchase. Perform investment appraisal and valuation (DCF (discounted cash flow), and comparable analysis), and develop, review, and update financial models. This includes observing and reporting the performance of portfolio assets owned by the organization. Articulate clear investment theses and monitor portfolio positions for any changes from original thesis. Provide support for deal sourcing and conduct financial due diligence for new investments, including network with financial advisers, lawyers, and industry experts, and professionals at external private equity firms.
