SUMMARY
This is an opportunity to join a growing, dynamic and responsible company that fosters the development of our employees. We are seeking a Senior Accountant position working in a hybrid first work environment (1 day in office), and is not eligible for relocation assistance.
The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller working with the team to prepare and analyze the monthly financial statements. This position will work with the Controller on accounting standards and reviewing the balance sheet for month-end adjustments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
Sales tax - working with our Avalara system
Input monthly journal entries
Work on commissions for sales staff
Work on company financial statements
Record and maintain fixed assets records
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Prepare various monthly reports for operations and leadership
Any research needed for accounting standards and financial presentation
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science – Accounting
2-3 years of auditing experience
CPA required
