We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to work with genomic sequencing customers in North America. At NVIDIA, our Solution Architects are elite developers and scientists who enjoy working with the latest in GPU hardware and software. NVIDIA’s platform for machine learning, deep learning and high-performance computing have already made a major impact on the healthcare domain and are broadly used across leading academic medical centers, pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers and start-ups. This Senior Solutions Architect role requires becoming a trusted technical advisor and leader to our customers who believe that accelerated computing and artificial intelligence is a new computing revolution and has the potential to transform the entire healthcare domain. Your duties will vary from inventing proof-of-concept demonstrations, to driving relationships with key executives and managers to promote accelerated computing. Dynamically engaging with developers, scientific researchers, data scientists, IT managers and senior leaders is a meaningful part of the Solutions Architect role and will give you experience with a range of partners and projects.

　　What you will be doing:

　　Partner with our business / account team working with customers to develop a keen understanding of their goals, strategies, and technical needs as well as to help define and deliver high-value solutions meeting these needs.

　　Optimize the analysis of biological data, such as genomic sequencing, using NVIDIA’s computing platform.

　　Work with customers to design NVIDIA's GPU's into their next generation sequencing devices.

　　Stay up on the state of the art in genomic sequencing and biotechnology to apply the latest advancements in the field to customer needs.

　　Document what you know and teach others. This can vary from building targeted training for partners and other Solutions Architects, to writing whitepapers, blogs, and wiki articles, to simply working through hard problems with a customer on a whiteboard.

　　Partner strategically with lighthouse customers and industry-specific solution partners targeting our computing platform.

　　We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role. You are empowered to find the best way to get your job done and make our customers successful.

　　What we need to see:

　　MS, PhD or equivalent experience in Computational Biology, Biology, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics or closely related fields.

　　5+ years of work-related experience in software development, machine learning or high-performance computing.

　　Scientific computing experience including software development in scientific programming languages like C/C++, Python, and/or CUDA.

　　Expertise in bioinformatics and the processing of sequencing data.

　　Understanding of how to apply machine learning or deep learning to answer scientific questions.

　　Experience with modern Deep Learning software architecture and frameworks.

　　Excellent communication skills particularly in the presentation of highly technical material.

　　Must enjoy interacting with forward-thinking people, life-long learning, and staying at the forefront of the domain

　　Ways to stand out from the crowd:

　　Experience in the genomics sequencing industry or with customers/partners in the domain.

　　Proven experience optimization workloads with CUDA.

　　Significant deep learning experience with biologic data.

　　Published record of thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.

　　The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
