We are now looking for an experienced leader to drive our latest NVIDIA AI Technology Center! You will be a technical leader, responsible for programs to help accelerate the adoption of NVIDIA's technology by leading academic and public sector researchers. You will focus on technical engagements supporting researchers and developers at our higher education and research universities and labs as they adopt our platforms and solutions across high performance computing and AI. You will work cross-functionally within our organization and will ensure a positive experience integrating NVIDIA products into researcher workflows. You will help us grow and maintain a diverse team.

　　You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and have experience working with NVIDIA accelerated computing software and systems.

　　What you’ll be doing:

　　Supporting Higher Education, Research, and Ministerial customers and driving research collaborations/influencing new business in those customers and academic collaborations.

　　Support professors, researchers and ministries on their Deep Learning research works and assisting customer in building innovative solutions.

　　Closely follow academic researchers and developments integrating NVIDIA technology into AI and HPC architectures for sophisticated applications.

　　We make heavy use of conferencing tools, but some travel is required for this role. You are empowered to find the best way to get your job done and make our customers and collaborators successful.

　　What we need to see:

　　PhD in a technical or scientific field

　　A total of at least 14 years of related experience including both industry and academia

　　Solid track record of publications and grants

　　Consistent record of international teamwork

　　Proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)

　　Existing expertise in AI and computational science

　　Ways to stand out from the crowd:

　　Experience with NVIDIA platforms

　　Prior experience leading a corporate research / research support team

　　Participation or leadership in a national or international scientific or engineering society (e.g. IEEE, ACM, SIAM or similar)

　　Publications or public talks on GPU or AI accelerated scientific computing

　　Expertise in quantum computing
