　　Responsibilities

　　We seek a smart, passionate and self-driven experienced engineer to work on cutting edge technology to forge the path ahead for big data sets, run data pipelines with 24x7x365 service availability and tight SLA and build comprehensive and intuitive end-end solutions to delight our customers.

　　Lead the technical decisions to design and develop large-scale and high-quality data and experimentation services with easy-to-use APIs.

　　Focus on automating and enabling self-serve capabilities in the platform to empower other teams to build such highly efficient and reliable datasets.

　　Build strong cross group collaboration with other cross-geo teams to remove blockers and drive for comprehensive end-end solution delivery.

　　Foster a deep understanding of the telemetry and data systems and semantics and its usage by our customers. Leverage this understanding to drive data system improvements and educate customers on optimal use of our systems for their scenarios.

　　Leverage other data platforms (open source and within Microsoft) for building solutions.

　　Work very closely with multiple data infrastructure teams including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, AML, etc. to deeply understand cloud computing techniques; drive feature requests into those platforms as needed and leverage them to design and develop our data foundation.

　　Qualifications

　　At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines. 

　　6+ years of designing, developing, deploying and evolving applications at a global scale.

　　Experience in the data engineering / ML space, especially handling big data scale with privacy/security considerations is highly desired.

　　A history of inter-team partnerships, leading project team, working closely with large teams to help find common goals, orchestrate the complex to be simple, and operationalize our efforts. 

　　Clear and effective communication skills.

　　Proven success with cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration. 

　　Passionate about big data, self-motivated and self-directed.
