　　The Role:

　　We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer working primarily on the backend (Java, Spring Boot, kubernetes), to build new features for our Cloud Extractors Suite team. Software Engineers at Celonis are responsible for their services end to end, starting from design and development to deployment and maintenance. You'll be an integral part of our team's mission to streamline data integration experiences, provide solutions to handle large-scale data extractions.

　　The Team:

　　The Cloud Extractors Suite Team at Celonis, brings the customer data into the EMS (Execution Management System) from a wide variety of cloud systems in a performant, robust and scalable way. We are the front door for our customers, and we strive to reduce latency, increase throughput, and improve reliability and scalability of our data extraction solutions. With a constant focus on improving the data integration experience, we specialize in handling large-scale data processing, orchestrating seamless data extraction pipelines to ensure the smooth and on-time transfer of extensive datasets.

　　The work you’ll do:

　　Take responsibility for pieces of work throughout the stages of development - from design to deployment.

　　Implement maintainable and reliable software that meets expectations, including complex features and applications.

　　Take open ended technical problems and develop practical solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

　　Handle requests from customer support finding the right technical solution.

　　The qualifications you need:

　　5+ years of professional experience building Java applications

　　Good knowledge of Spring Boot

　　Experience in REST APIs and distributed microservices architecture

　　Experience with relational databases and SQL

　　Familiar with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, kubernetes)

　　Strong communication skills (English is a must)

　　Passion and motivation to learn and grow as a Software Engineer

　　Nice to have: Angular knowledge and DataDog monitoring
