The Vision Products Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to define the future of Music on Vision Pro. The visionOS Music App Engineering team builds delightful interfaces for our users and works on ground-breaking technologies to create novel ways to experience Music on Vision Pro. As a part of this team, you will work closely with Product, Design & Frameworks teams to craft unique features & products that will be enjoyed by music enthusiasts around the globe.

　　Key Qualifications

　　You have at least 3 years of experience building iOS/tvOS/macOS/watchOS/visionOS software across different parts of the client stack including System software, Frameworks & Applications

　　You enjoy architecting end to end solutions for complex or nebulous problems

　　You prioritize quality and performance when engineering software

　　Description

　　Apple Vision Pro’s spatial computing capabilities adds another dimension to the way you consume and interact with media. As part of Apple’s Vision Products Group, you will work closely across different organizations within Apple to craft the next generation of features & capabilities for Apple Music on visionOS. This team works on different parts of Apple’s client software stack to build concept to ship-ready solutions for the Music product. We are looking for an engineer who will thrive in a highly cross-functional environment, driving and delivering leading edge features whilst upholding the quality and performance bar required of Apple products. You will be a technical leader for a team that builds modular, extensible, and scalable solutions for Apple’s Music App, while also guiding and mentoring the talented engineers on the team.

　　Education & Experience

　　BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent Degree

　　Additional Requirements

　　Experience programming with Swift and/or Objective-C is preferred

　　Experience working with shipped customer-facing visionOS, iOS, tvOS and/or macOS applications

　　At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
