MarketAxess Corporation seeks a Senior Software Engineer in New York, NY.Duties:• Develop and maintain the company's fixed income e-trading platform for products including credit and corporate bonds• Develop the order entry/management system, product enhancements and new workflows for trading, server-side programming and messaging• Production support, investigating and fixing production issues• Co-ordinate with business analysts and quality assurance on a daily basis• Present technical designs of work performed to the various groups (including Development, QA, BA and the business)• Develop and maintain the company's fixed income e-trading platform for products including credit and corporate bonds• Develop the order entry/management system, product enhancements and new workflows for trading, server-side programming and messaging• Perform duties utilizing Oracle, Java, Swing, AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot, ReactJS, Ant, server-side and client-to-server technology, multi-threading, GUI screensRequires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience. Requires 5 years of experience with the following: SQL; Requirement analysis and design; Spring framework and REST services; Java and JavaScript Technologies;Build tools such as Ant, Gradle, and Maven.
