　　Lab126, Devices Team is looking for a passionate and talented Software Engineer in Test who has experience in test design, implementation, and automation. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the development of testing infrastructure and collaborating across teams to develop effective test designs that help to raise the overall quality bar of the organization.

　　You will have significant influence on our overall strategy by helping define product features, drive the system architecture, and spearhead best practices that enable a quality product.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Drive cross-team design reviews on test frameworks, tooling and test methodologies

　　Build and improve software and tools by translating business, functional and design requirements and problems into robust, scalable, and supportable test solutions.

　　Insist on the highest standards and help create functional and engaging features that delight customers.

　　Mentor junior software development engineers in test and being pioneer for building the effective test team and extensible test solutions.

　　A day in the life

　　As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing new test frameworks and processes for testing a brand new device. To do this, you will have the most advanced tools at your disposal. You will be responsible for looking to the future and identifying what the team will need to test experiences that were not thought possible today.

　　Given a problem statement, you would be required to provide efficient scalable solutions by gathering and analyzing data.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　6+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience

　　8+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience

　　Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

　　Experience building test automation frameworks and tools

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

　　3+ years of experience in Python

　　Excellent troubleshooting skills.

　　Broad knowledge of automation methodologies like mocking, stubbing, instrumentation, code-coverage generation etc.,

　　Experience in using various automation framework testing both UI and API scenarios

　　Experience in a leading a group of engineers in develop new software products by doing design reviews and architectural changes

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

　　Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results.

　　Experience with test driven development and establishing unit test infrastructures.

　　Experience automating the validating of modern user interfaces and messaging infrastructures.

　　Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.

　　Experience interacting and coordinating test activities amongst multiple teams.

　　Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.
