Description

　　Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

　　THE ROLE

　　Have you wanted an opportunity to develop the software applications and services for an advanced global telecom service? This role is for a Senior Software Development Engineer who will lead the design, architecture and implementation of Customer Engagement Systems. Our team owns developing the architecture, solutions and roadmap for managing the customer life cycle for global ISP services; for example identity and account management, subscriber management services, user provisioning, billing and payments, customer and technical support tools, offer management tools, and customer metrics and analytics.

　　· Design and implement Telecom Applications and Services.

　　· Partner with the Satellite, Networks and Security engineering teams.

　　· Drive Customer Engagement Systems application and data architecture.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

　　5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

　　5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
