　　You will be a Senior Software Developer, working closely with our Software Applications and Research associates, and other functions to design and develop Mass spectrometer software products and capabilities.

　　This position is part of the Software Department and will be located in Concord, Ontario, Canada    

　　In this role, you will have the opportunity to:  

　　Analyzes problems to deliver creative, logical, and effective solutions using good design principles that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements.

　　Develop high complexity modules/subsystems for controlling analytical instruments and data mining with intelligent algorithms .

　　Implement software products using advanced technologies and appropriate design patterns , e.g., threading/async programming.

　　Evaluate and recommend new software development technologies, tools and practices.

　　Mentor team members, and peer reviews product artifacts including requirement specifications, design specifications, and code

　　The essential requirements of the job include:    

　　Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

　　Minimum 5 years’ experience in designing and developing applications using OOP/OOD . Minimum 4 years of experience in C#/.NET .

　　Experience with design and implementation of n-tier systems, reusable libraries and development frameworks.

　　Proven experience working in a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical personnel

　　It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:  

　　Experience with Mass Spectrometer and/or other analytical instruments is preferred.

　　The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $115,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
