Responsibilities: Architecture & Design: Collaborate in the development and implementation of security architecture and design for enterprise systems. Assist in creating and updating network topology diagrams, including network segmentation, architecture, and data flow diagrams. Contribute to the review of network and system architecture plans, ensuring integration and security, particularly in areas like VMWare systems, Disaster Recovery backup systems, and mobile device management systems. Integration, Engineering, Administration, and Program Management: Lead the engineering and administration aspects of IT and security systems such as Palo Alto Firewalls and Microsoft Azure AD. Implement and manage the integration of new security solutions into the existing technology infrastructure, ensuring robust defense against cyber threats. Perform detailed security risk assessments and implement solutions and controls for risk mitigation. Conduct rigorous testing of new solutions and oversee their adoption, providing comprehensive documentation, training, and guidance to DoIT staff. Regularly perform system health checks and compile risk-based remediation reports. Qualifications: CISSP-ISSEP certification. In-depth experience in systems engineering within a security-focused environment. Expertise in integrating and managing diverse IT and security solutions. Proven track record in conducting security risk assessments and implementing effective solutions.
