　　This is a combined posting for Senior Security Officer and Security Officer. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. 　　We are hiring for the following opportunities:

　　Senior Security Officer - Full Time, Variable Shift

　　Senior Security Officer - Full Time, Night Shift

　　Security Officer - Full Time, Variable Shift

　　The Senior Security Officer receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer, performs a variety of full performance level technical security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry.

　　The Security Officer receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a variety of security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces Providence Health Care, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct against PHC staff, visitors, staff, and property; responds and assists in restraining patients; detains individuals when necessary or at the direction of a police officer; and provides protective services to high risk areas. May be required to support any Providence or affiliated organization in emergent situations in the local service area.

　　Senior Security Officer

　　Required qualifications:

　　Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

　　2 years of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience, or related work experience in a healthcare setting, or relevant college coursework deemed important to the job AND 1 year experience working within a Providence security department and passage of the SO2 promotion test and oral board.

　　At least 5 years Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience, or related work experience in a healthcare setting, or relevant college coursework AND passage of the Security Department SO2 promotion test and oral board within the first 6 months of employment.

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, History, or EnglishSenior Security Officer, Salary Range:

　　Min: $18.10, Max: $28.79
