Senior SDLC Project Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a project from start to finish. This candidate will be able to create a plan of action which will consider a fixed timeline and evaluate risks. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
6 Month Contract to Hire (Likely to extend or Convert)
Hybrid Schedule in Montgomery Alabama (3 days remote and 2 days onsite)
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
Coordinate resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and equipment, to achieve project goals.
Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
Determining and overseeing consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages of the SDLC
Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
Qualifications
Highly Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including ability to analyze data in spreadsheets, create presentations and make changes to Microsoft Project Plans
Must be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Jira
Experience managing projects for new product implementations with customizations, platform migrations and software upgrades
Experience leading in a Hybrid Agile environment
Ability to strategically plan, prioritize, develop, and manage schedules – coordinating competing priorities with tight deadlines
Adept at creating and maintaining project documentation including project plans, action item lists, risk registers, issue logs, change control registers, SOW content and requirements
Bachelor’s degree and PMP required
