Position Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for professionally managing and developing the analytic tools, processes, and controls that assist the Sales Leaders and Sales Enablement Managers in attainment of New Tire and Retread sales volume and profitability for their respective department. The Sales Operations Specialist is also responsible for supporting all channels of the commercial sales organization.
Responsibilities
Support the channels by managing and processing the onboarding of new customers, as well as customer account modifications.
Process, analyze and verify accuracy of all sales programs paperwork to insure it is within corporate guidelines and budgets. Process incentive credits through billing system.
Provide support to Region personnel which could include analyzing data, researching an issue. Liaison between the field and Corporate.
Handle special projects as directed.
Adapts precedent and may holistically change standard operating procedures to develop new solutions.
Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business, statistics, or related field.
3-5 years of related work experience.
Ability to manage complex data, infer trends, and spot patterns.
Knowledge of relevant analytical tools and techniques.
Proficient in EXCEL and a power user with Pivot Table functionality.
Strong storytelling capabilities in conjunction with proficiency in PowerPoint. Ability to ensure accuracy of data and version control with forecast updates.
Understanding market, customer and end consumer trends.
Well-developed communication skills and comfort around senior leaders.
Ability to work with remote teams effectively.
Excellent project and time-management skills.
Ability to structure and work on exploratory problems.
Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
Analytical reasoning skills along with strong story-telling abilities.
Preferred:
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Knowledge of advanced analytics via Alteryx or a similar software.
Understand forecasting concepts, models, and statistical techniques.
