Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating and completing ESG questionnaires (DDQs, RFPs and surveys) and requests from EMEA and other international client coverage channels
Review ESG questionnaires and ESG sections of questionnaires for writers based in EMEA and APAC
Collaborate with ESG RFP SMEs and ESG Investing team to review standard ESG language, identify gaps, improve ESG responses, with a focus on the structure and consistency across the content database
Support the RFP team’s overall pipeline including non-ESG RFPs, DDQs and requests
Provide regular updates to the ESG Investing team on our language, trends and initiatives during quarterly meetings
Collaborate on strategic ESG related projects across EMEA and regions to improve our messaging and support business development efforts in the region
Key Requirements / Qualifications (essential unless stated)
University graduate (IMC, CFA, or CFA certificate in ESG Investing is a plus)
5 years’ experience in an RFP role, 2 years with a specific ESG focus preferred, experience with SFDR preferred
Broad market knowledge across asset classes, experience with complex mandates, fixed income and alternatives preferred
Experience writing/ rewriting compelling, client centric RFP responses required
Experience with RFP database and organisation of large sets of standard language required
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively with senior investment professionals and SMEs
Excellent team player, ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and independently
