  UMB Institutional Banking encompasses the following areas: Corporate Trust, Specialty Trust & Agency Solutions, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Investment Banking, Investor Solutions, Public Finance and Healthcare Services. It combines institutionally focused capabilities into one cohesive unit, serving the entire institutional marketplace from smaller correspondent banks and municipalities to the largest broker-dealers and fund companies in the United States. 

  As a group within Institutional Banking, UMB’s Healthcare Services team delivers healthcare payment solutions including custodial services for health savings accounts (HSAs) and private label, multipurpose debit cards to insurance carriers, third-party administrators, software companies, employers and financial institutions. UMB Healthcare Services is one of the top custodians in the country and is a growing team within UMB, with a focus on an expanding product set along with customized solutions tailored to our partners. This team is critical to UMB’s growth strategy and allows our customers to have a single relationship for their banking and HSA needs.

  As a Senior Reporting and Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for partnering with Institutional Banking line of business leaders and teams to assist in creating reporting and providing analysis. You will design, develop and support reports and dashboards, using Essbase, Hyperion, Power BI, and other available reporting tools.

  How you’ll spend your time:

  You will use your financial acumen to create financial reporting & business analysis identifying and using key business drivers.

  You will use your technical skills to consolidate internal reporting functions and provide monthly ad hoc report creation, as well as report, develop and maintain the HCS operations metrics including initiative tracking, department trends, forecasts and recommend actions by analyzing, interpreting data and performing comparative analysis.

  You will act as a “data steward” by researching, analyzing, and cataloging all processes related to, data sources used for HCS reporting (both internal department and enterprise level sources) and implementing changes to become more efficient and accurate.

  You will use your industry knowledge to enhance existing reporting, dashboards, and analysis to increase functionality and usability.

  You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  You have three (3) to five (5) years’ experience with one or more of the following functions: Finance, Accounting, Reporting, Programing, CIS.

  Compensation Range:

  Minimum: $69,230.00 - Mid Point: $109,120.00

  The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
