Your Role:
As a Senior Regulatory Counsel, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day guidance on legal issues and risk mitigation strategies for RCP related to the regulation of our consumer products, as to (i) content and use and (ii) packaging, online and other claims. This role will effectively make recommendations on direction and issue resolutions while supporting the Deputy General Counsel and General Counsel and assisting in the development and implementation of process improvements, policies, and procedures. You will have the opportunity to:
Provide legal advice, guidance, and representation to RCP and its related entities with respect to business, advocacy, commercial, and compliance matters.
Build partnerships with business stakeholders to drive brand and company strategy.
Conduct research regarding specific legal and regulatory issues.
Participate in the development of regulatory and marketing policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters.
Communicate regularly with senior management of our business units on regulatory issues impacting their businesses.
Monitor and maintain knowledge of current trends in relevant areas of regulation and law and pursue ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge on best practices.
Manage a Regulatory Senior Manager and support staff.
Ultimately, you will operate as a key contributor to the legal and business teams at RCP while advising business partners on a broad range of legal issues. We strive to build a diverse, inclusive, and talented workforce who will contribute to the Company’s vision, mission, and goals.

We need you to have:
JD - Appropriately licensed to practice law in Illinois or another state.
3-5 years’ experience.
Excellent speaking and writing skills, including the ability to clearly describe complex issues.
Ability to exercise judgment and diplomacy while addressing sensitive or challenging issues with internal or external stakeholders.
Ability to think creatively and strategically.
Icing on the cake:

Job Requirements
We need you to have:
