Within Azure Data, the business intelligence team builds and maintains Power BI which is the undisputed leader in BI tools in the industry today and serves as the bridge between data professionals & Office users. Power BI’s core value proposition is to enable end users to get answers & insights from their data through data visualization.
The Azure Data Partner team is responsible for building the partner ecosystem for Microsoft Fabric, covering Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI and including SQL. This includes recruiting, managing, facilitating training, sharing resources, and enabling SI partners globally.
The team’s strategy is to connect customers with consulting partners at scale through promoting partners’ offers and solutions across a broad range of channels like product websites, in-product notifications, and email nurture streams.
The team is currently looking for a Senior Program Manager to own the planning and execution of Dashboard in a Day (DIAD), Fabric Analyst in a Day (FAIAD), and any future IAD events.
DIAD is a 1-day hands-on workshop for Business Analysts, covering the breadth of Power BI capabilities. FAIAD is a 1-day hands-on workshop to train Pro BI developers, covering how Fabric's unified analytics platform can enable them to innovate faster and reduce time to value.
Microsoft plans to execute 100s of those events globally in partnership with our System Integrator (SI) partners. The candidate is responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly and successfully.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute in a day (IAD) program strategies, including defining goals, scale, and budget.
Lead the end-to-end program execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Global Demand Center (GDC), Platform Ops to align on program goals, deliverables and timelines.
Define partner requirements and criteria, including recruitment and onboarding of new program partners.
Manage a vendor team of Program Managers (PM) responsible for program operations.
Drive Monthly Business Review content.
Communicate program value proposition and benefits to internal and external audiences.
Drive program adoption and growth by identifying and addressing partner feedback and highlighting insights/opportunities.
Communicate program status and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years experience in relevant technical domain (e.g., cloud services, security), technical sales, marketing, product management, customer support, or cross-group/cross-functional engineering.
OR equivalent experience.
Experience in executing global events campaign.
Experience in managing groups/teams.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Partner Enablement Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.
