　　Job Summary

　　Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

　　Summary of Job Function:

　　The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients,

　　They are responsible for the preparation , dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures,

　　They exercise considerable independent decision making,

　　Provide advanced clinical services to assigned specialty areas,

　　Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure:

　　Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD,

　　Current registration in New Jersey as a licensed registered pharmacist required,

　　Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy,

　　Working knowledge of public health matters,

　　Familiarity with Federal and State laws regulating professional and hospital practice of Pharmacy,

　　Understands role of Hospital Pharmacy Department with the hospital, and its inter-relationships with other departments and functions,

　　Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy,
