The IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) Product group at Ford is looking to build transformational and innovative products to enrich our customers’ in-vehicle experience. We are seeking a Partner Manager that can work with Ford’s best in class partners to help deliver insanely great products to our customers.
Hybrid - Office Locations: Dearborn, MI or Palo Alto, CA
What you'll do...
The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact with partners and represent Ford Motor Company’s product management organization with key strategic partners. The role requires a candidate with a strong product background who has excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills as well as a proven track record working with partners.
• Deliver Ford’s strategy and vision to 3rd party partner.
• Represent Ford Product in all contract and legal reviews related to the partner.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the partners’ products and processes.
• Host regular partnership reviews including Ford and partner senior leadership.
• Represent the partner in internal meetings.
• Develop and own internal documentation related to the partner and their offerings.
• Support go-to-market activities related to the partner and Ford.
• Work with a high level of comfort in matrixed organizations, and in close partnership with cross-functional colleagues.
You'll have...
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• 5+ years of work experience in partner management in a digital product industry.
• 3+ years of experience in technology industry
Even better, you may have...
• Master’s degree in business, Software, or another relevant discipline
• Experience in usability and customer-focused design
• Experience working laterally across multiple business projects simultaneously.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
• Passion for building great products, obsess over customers and challenge constraints.
• Highly effective communicator, ability to work with a team comprised of internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and their relevance to the product, as well as communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable with ambiguity – ability to remain focused and seek a path forward despite unexpected challenges.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills
