　　Cribl is expanding its Legal team to meet Cribl's rapidly growing needs.This role will lead the Legal team's product support work, including theLegal team's intellectual property, privacy and product compliancefunctions. This leadership role will be a key stakeholder across the companyand will work cross-functionally with the product and engineering teams, aswell as stakeholders in, finance, business operations, people,sales, and marketing. This role reports to the Chief Legal Officer.

　　Provide expert legal advice and support to all business units onproduct-related legal issues, including without limitation support relatedto privacy, intellectual property, security, technical standards andaudits, and related issues, as well as business-minded problem-solvingwith a focus on providing available options, discussing risks for options,and executing on options the client selects.Manage Cribl's patent, trademark, and copyright programs, includingwithout limitation by partnering with the engineering and product teams inenhancing Cribl's patent portfolio.Manage Cribl's privacy program in partnership with the security team,including maintaining and updating policies, notices, and commercialagreements in response to developments in applicable data privacy laws andindustry standards.Provide expert legal advice and support to the executive team onproduct-related legal issues, including without limitation the impact toCribl' s business operations from changes in domestic or international lawsand changes to applicable privacy and intellectual property standards.Provide expert legal advice and support to the marketing team on materials andcommunications related to Cribl's products.Manage outside counsel's work on privacy, intellectual property andrelated product support issues.Support, draft, and update commercial agreements, including negotiatingprivacy and product-related issues in connection with sales negotiations.Coordinate with relevant business teams and other internal legal teams onlegal and other cross-functional issues.Participate as a team player and supervise legal team members as assigned.All other responsibilities, duties, functions, and activities asassigned, including without limitation providing general legal support asneeded concerning other areas of the business.

　　As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will Bring....

　　At least seven years of relevant legal experience at a top law firm orin-house, or a combination of both, with a minimum of four years of legalexperience in product, or intellectual property law; experience inartificial intelligence is a plus.Experience with patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation;experience with international patent issues is a plus.Knowledge of state and federal privacy and data protection laws andinternational regulations, including without limitation the General DataProtection Regulation for the European Union and the United Kingdom, as wellas state privacy and data protection laws like the California Privacy RightsAcExperience with cloud and software technology and a strong desire to work onlegal issues in these areas.Experienc in acquiring a deep understanding of technology products or othersignificant experience with technology, including without limitationacademic or practica l experience with computer engineering, mathematics,or science.Experience with supporting cross-functional teams in a legal role.Juris Doctorate and relevant license to practice law in good standing.CIPP/E/US certification is a plus.

　　Salary Range ($141,000 - $242,000)

　　The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salaryoffered within the range described will be based on the individualcandidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
