We are seeking a motivated Senior Process Engineer to join our Philadelphia office.
The Senior Engineer is responsible for the design of process engineering in various degrees of complexity and supervises and performs all phases of the design.
Essential FunctionsWork directly with Client to establish design criteria working from BFD's to PFD's to P&ID's.Write project specifications, equipment and instrument data sheets.Create and Manage overall system design. Assure project compliance with Code, Standards and URS.Perform design calculations, equipment selections, review calculations performed by project designer.Perform existing system and equipment evaluations.Coordinate with Instrument and Controls Engineer and establish parameters for automation. Write Process Description.Actively work with and supervise other staff to perform different tasks at the same time while maintaining project schedules and budgets.Mentor junior designers to develop them into experienced engineers.Produce proposals and make effective presentations.Actively manage Client and Contractor relationships.Stay abreast of state-of-the-art design through independent reading, attendance of seminars and continuing education.
