Description:
Seeking senior process engineer to support oil and gas projects relating to processing facilities and compressor stations.
• Ability to lead a multi-discipline engineering team on projects with little guidance; supervise design personnel and other staff specialists.
• Review and approve designs; assists in the development of design guides, provide guidance for specifications and design control procedures.
• Serve as the lead Process Engineer or technical expert on medium to large projects. Planning and managing the engineering activities on a project.
• Maintain the schedule and budget of assigned projects
• Conduct relatively complex engineering tasks while supervising work of a team of engineers assigned to a project.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop analysis models for more complex projects with limited supervision.
• Mentor less experienced engineers, designers and drafters.
• Interface with other disciplines, vendors, clients and contractors.
• Prepare advanced specifications detailing performance requirements, specific components, design requirements, applicable design codes, and vendor drawing
requirements.
• Visit vendor facilities and jobsites as necessary
• Prepare inquiry and purchase requisitions, bid tabulations on simple purchases, and reviews vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Qualifications:
• BS in Chemical Engineering (or higher)
• Oil & Gas experience is essential
• BS in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering: field experience, experience working in the oil and gas industry or onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
• Experience as the lead engineer on medium and large multi-discipline projects
• HYSYS/Promax/VMG Symmetry process simulation software experience preferred
• Experience providing process safety engineering advice for quantified risk assessments, assessment of safety instrumented systems, alarm management, preliminary risk assessment, and layer of protection analysis.
