Role Oversees the ideation, design, and development of new and existing Mastercard physical compute and storage systems to ensure optimal performances that fulfill internal and external customer requirements. Oversees complex system and platform problem resolutions as well as software and hardware solutions to address technical issues; seeks opportunities for improvements to prevent performance issues from recurring. Leads and implements process improvement efforts and owns compute and storage standards for Mastercard on-prem environments. Oversees the implementation of troubleshooting guides and technical assistance processes to empower development programmers to independently resolve issues with new and existing software. Serves as lead architect, providing technical thought leadership for architecting new hardware capabilities and establishing technical strategies and roadmaps. Mentors, coaches, and conducts technical trainings to develop talent across the organization.
