　　Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format , with time split between working onsite and remotely. The remote percentage is based on current program needs, but will be less than 50%.

　　The C4ISR Adaptive Communications & Sensing (AC&S) product line is looking for an experienced Senior Principal Software Engineer to develop the next generation multi-function products using technology such as our software defined radio (SDR) technology framework. The qualified candidate will work in a rapid development environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Tasks may include coding, debugging, and integrating software, as well as the integration, regression, and requirement testing of complex SW/HW systems. This position may require business travel in support of product demonstrations, software installation, and system testing.

　　The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work with platforms and mission applications for intelligence and defense customers with domain emphasis on Geospatial Intelligence, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and Mission Management.

　　Job Responsibilities

　　Duties include the execution of complex software architecture and designs on projects.

　　Execute established management systems and provide leadership to assure the effective performance of work, close monitoring of cost and schedule, and take timely and effective corrective action.

　　Establish communication to keep management informed of the function s progress and results.

　　Use existing processes and evolve processes to utilize the most effective new techniques as they become available, assuring the use of methodologies which minimize both design cost and product cost.

　　Provide, directly or indirectly, top level technical leadership for the assigned design discipline(s) including selection and exploitation of promising new technologies, long-term goals, etc.

　　Ensure effective communication between assigned engineers and all other participants in the design process.

　　Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

　　Required Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

　　High-level Object-Oriented language proficiency (e.g. modern C )

　　Experience with Agile Development and DevSecOps

　　Experience with Containers including Docker or Kubernetes.

　　Experience with Multi-threaded distributed Processing Environments

　　Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills that translate to working software

　　Some Software Technical Leadership experience

　　Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

　　Active Secret (or higher) clearance (active within the last two years)

　　Pub/Sub solutions (e.g. ActiveMQ)

　　Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) experience

　　Exposure to Software defined radios (SDRs)

　　Experience developing on Linux Operating Systems

　　Experience using scripting languages, such as Python or Bash

　　Experience using software tools like Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Gitlab

　　Software automated test development and execution

　　Software algorithm development

　　Pay Information

　　Full-Time Salary Range: $118129 - $200864

　　Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
