Regions Hospital is seeking a Sr. Medical Assistant to support our Oncology Infusion department in a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8 am-5:30 pm. In this position you will perform designated duties relating to patient diagnosis and treatment based on the age-specific needs of the adolescent and patient population served; assist doctors and nurses in a clinic setting in the provision of general health care; coordinate clinic specific functions; monitor and order needed supplies for the clinic, act as back up position to the front/back desk area, work with computer software database programs and perform related duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p Required Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Six months experience in specialty area (e.g. Oncology, Medicine).
