Here, you will make an impact by:Leading cross-functional projects to develop and deploy Web Handling technology solutions to 3M global manufacturing locationsPartnering with 3M lab and manufacturing teams to develop and deploy Web Handling technology solutions to realize process entitlementSupporting global 3M manufacturing teams to diagnose root causes, troubleshoot, and drive process issues to resolution in the areas of lamination, web handling, and winding processes.Leading process development activities in support of new product developmentParticipating and contributing to Web Processing technology strategic planningWillingness to maintain flexible hours to support global manufacturingYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited institutionThree years of combined experience in manufacturing and/or technology development in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Advanced studies or degree in a computer science discipline from an accredited universityExperience working with lamination, web handling, or winding process fundamentals and their application in manufacturingExperience with roll-to-roll coating processesStrong leadership, project management and influencing skillsWork location:Maplewood, MN; Hybrid EligibleTravel: May include up to 15% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
