The Senior Manger/Product Strategy – Global Warranty role is a critical position in the success of AIG’s Global Warranty Services business. The role is responsible for coordinating with the entire Global Accounts team as well as stakeholders from other departments within AIG to identify opportunities to drive efficiency in our workstreams, processes and procedures. The role reports directly to the Vice President of Global Accounts and will be critical in prioritizing and implementing new programs and processes that ultimately enable the scalability of the Global Warranty Services business ensuring growth goals are achieved, resulting in driving revenue and profit for AIG and our clients.
Responsibilities:
Works with VP of Global Accounts to execute the vision for how Global Accounts will support customer needs and growth (current, new and prospective) by identifying, outlining and prioritizing the product(s), platform(s) and system(s) needed for long term success and continued growth.
Responsible for fully understanding, documenting and internally communicating the entire workflow and partner goals/expectations
Evaluation, and prioritization of initiatives that will drive operational efficiency
Establishing good working relationships with the Global Accounts team as well as our counterparts in other departments at AIG (claims, IT, finance, etc.), posturing self as trusted source of knowledge on process and procedures.
Direct multiple teams including but not limited to: project management, operations, compliance, claims, legal, underwriting to articulate, document and manage all components of large implementations and projects to ensuring alignment with client and company objective.
Ability to identify and drive efficiencies throughout the organization (including claims, customer service, fulfillment, etc.) by observing, documenting and communicating recommendations to senior leadership.
Monitor program performance and identify areas for improvement and opportunities to gain efficiency, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.
Develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and report progress to senior management.
Ability to lead internal calls, providing agendas, meeting goals, and tracking all deliverables
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in operations management, with a focus on the Warranty space.
Ability to document and present findings and recommendations to senior management
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective improvement plans.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
Proven ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
