　　Job Summary:

　　Oversees the development, support and continued improvement of manufacturing processes across major functions or multiple facilities.

　　Responsibilities

　　• Working directly with operations managers to provide manufacturing expertise in the planning, documentation, implementation, support and maintenance of manufacturing processes, procedures, machinery and tooling to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, quality and safety.

　　• Driving process changes leveraging research and process performance data to identify and implement changes that improve yield, runtime, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.

　　• Managing the activities and resources for manufacturing engineers, process design and support personnel.

　　• Providing on-going support for manufacturing problems and deficiencies; troubleshoots technically challenging production problems.

　　Skills Required

　　Operational Functions: Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

　　Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.

　　Continuous Transformation: Knowledge of evolving the business to remain competitive; ability to understand, adapt oneself to, respond to and proactively seek changes and innovation in the business environment to improve the competitive advantage of an organization.

　　Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives.

　　Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

　　Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools, approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.

　　Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy, principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.
