  This position is responsible for the management of Talent Management and Learning programs and policy requirements that provide the framework for talent segment program design that aligns with Edwards' Talent and Organization strategy, HR strategy, and business needs. This role is responsible for bringing outside-in perspective and expertise founded on market intelligence to incorporate leading practices and innovative solutions into the program requirements.

  The role is responsible for defining the Engineering Talent Segment L&D strategy for the purpose of enhancing the employee experience and maintaining the business competitive advantage. This role collaborates with other COE teams to support an integrated strategy, and continuous improvement.

  How you will make an impact:

  Develop, define, and plan program objectives and policy requirements based on business needs and strategic goals for talent segment programs, with accountability for all project deliverables including identifying gaps, recommending solutions while providing direction and guidance to project teams.Identify, evaluate, and lead the implementation of learning and development programs and process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities. Oversee and maintain talent segment program design and delivery.Design Engineering Talent Segment programs based on business need, program framework and requirements, metrics of success, and global COE alignmentUse data and analytics to support continuous improvement to reduce cost, improve program quality/satisfaction, and demonstrate the value of the programs to the businessIncorporate leading practices into the program design and identify ways to introduce innovative solutions to achieve business goalsDevelop and manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure vendor performance and maximize investmentCollaborate with other Program Owners/Designers to create a seamless employee experience across HR offeringsProvide policy/program Tier 3 escalation support to HR SolutionsCollaborate with HRT to design programs and reports to continually improve data elements for compliance/evaluationLeverage leading practices, future trends, and innovative solutions to design, sustain and maintain programsAssess, evaluate, and refine program design using data & analytics to support continuous improvement of programsOther incidental duties

  What you'll need (Required)

  Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Engineering or related field, minimum of 10 years' experience of relevant experienceMaster's Degree or equivalent eight years' experience of previous related experienceMinimum of 5 years' experience of progressive leadership or relevant consulting experience

  Proven success in working in a fast-paced, global, and growing business environmentMinimum of 3 years' experience of people management experience PreferredManage effective communications through various mediumsExperience in data and analytics to drive informed decisions and evaluate successExperience implementing and managing L&D programs, policies, and proceduresExperience working collaboratively to facilitate the delivery of L&D and/or Engineering programs across geographies and culturesExperience working with L&D and/or HR technologies related to the practice areaExperience with an ERP system (Workday preferred)Experience with Microsoft tools and applications requiredStrong knowledge of L&D principles, theories and concepts, and strong knowledge of related local and federal laws and regulationsUnderstanding of Engineering processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements for assigned program area, including a competent understanding of relevant employment legislation and translation to practical solutionsAdvanced knowledge of current and upcoming trends, thought leadership, and leading practices for their practice and program areaAbility to articulate program objectives, activities, and policies by aligning L&D strategic goals and vision to business needsCreative thinking skills exhibited through thoughtful and innovative design of programsExcellent interpersonal skills including influencing, consulting, negotiation, conflict resolution and relationship management with the ability to drive achievement of objectivesAbility to work seamlessly across cultures, virtually and build relationships in an evolving and fast-growing organizationStrong analytical and critical thinking skills to diagnose, define and guide the design and enhancements of programs to meet business and workforce needsExceptional customer service orientation and employee experience mindsetAbility to prioritize, draw insights, and pivot based on business needsStrong planning and project management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong business acumen ; Operate with a global mindsetAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

  Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

  For California, the base pay range for this position is $106,000 to $151,000 (highly experienced).

  The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).

  COVID Vaccination Requirement
