Purpose
Accountable for managing company-wide fleet activities. This includes developing and implementing Fleet policies, procedures, and processes, supporting the execution of the company wide fleet strategy. Responsible for managing contracts with vendors and support of operations. Supports the design specifications for vehicle requisitions as well as making sure that corporate standards are created and followed. This role will assist regional fleet teams with management and maintenance of vehicles and equipment. Reports, records, and maintains all safety procedures relating to vehicles. Preparation of Fleet Data to be provided for Analysis.
Accountabilities
• Preparation of Fleet Data to be provided for Analysis. To present to senior management and multiple internal stakeholders enabling sound business decisions.
• Large role in supporting National Fleet and reporting fleet analysis to corporate Director of Supply Chain pertaining to National Fleet initiatives.
• Prepare annual planning and budgets; provide assistance, and input into capital and operating budgets and reforecast after each quarter for operating groups within region.
• Resolving Fleet related issues within local, regional, and corporate Policy & Procedures. Leads/manages/assist multiple regional fleet personnel stakeholders
• Monthly Fleet KPI Reporting, companywide Alt. Fuel analysis. Direct contact/database management with Company Fleet Management Provider. Works with multiple internal stakeholders to promote companywide initiatives. EHS-Safety, Innovation Team, and others.
• Leads Fleet Specification committee meetings and Safety committee meetings. Promotes and manages all company safety policies and procedures, utilizing company safety Gensuite system. Collaborates with National/Regional/Local EHS to develop and adjust vehicle safety policies and procedures
• Assist in managing records used to calculate vehicle cost to assist in the budgeting process.
• Negotiate nationwide contracts to leverage Liberty's volume and make such contracts available for various regions
• Manage the home regional fleet team utilizing the Regional Supervisor to lead all aspects of garage repair functions. Managing through the Regional Fleet Supervisor
• Regional management and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; Develops design specifications for vehicle requisitions; Reports, records and maintains all safety procedures relating to vehicles. Lead standardization of vehicle technical specifications initiative, working closely with each Regions individual Standards committee's to establish a national expectation
Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• 5-10 years Fleet management experience
• Auto-diesel truck training from factory or technical school desired, as well as ASE auto service consultant certification or equivalent. Experience with Large/Medium duty truck, hydraulics, and/or multiple utility vehicle experience, Electric Boom trucks, etc
Compensation
$139,233 - $208,849/year DOE
