Job Description:
ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking is ABA’s flagship executive education program. Student management is a key component to ensure a successful experience for all (600-700) annual student attendees. Starting from application submission through onsite participation, this role ensures each student receives excellent customer service and fully developed communications. The senior manager oversees, communicates, and tracks student program acceptance, extension work, Capstone and elective selection, curriculum progress, logistical information, hotel information, and pre-session assignments. Proficiency in developing and managing landing pages and forms and collaboration and coordination within cross-functional teams is required.
This position has primary responsibility for Stonier graduation requirements and handles student deferrals, including processing deferral requests and maintains communications to ensure students return. Extensive and accurate recordkeeping, as well as strong and regular communication with students (senior-level bank officers and regulatory agencies), is a key success indicator in the role.
This position also works closely with ABA’s Finance team to maintain accurate transfer and carry-over of deferral accounts to reflect on the budget for each fiscal year.
The senior manager is responsible for recommending and implementing process improvements, and partners with ABA teams to create student materials, data integration with engagement tools (i.e. mobile app, Nimble/Salesforce, and Docebo, the ABA School Management Platform) as well as distribute, secure, and track pre-session assignments. The senior manager is responsible for leading the data management function for Stonier, including historical files, generating specialized reports, and demographic information.
The incumbent is also dedicated to general support for all aspects of Stonier as needed i.e. maintaining academic integrity and updates to the Student Manual, Capstone Advisor Handbook, and the extension of work instructions.
Finally, this position manages the 5-10 Stonier graders each year, acting as the distribution channel for assignments delivered to graders. This role also tracks final grades, including completion of Capstone requirements. The incumbent will manage the distribution of the projects, and assignments of advisors to capstone students based on area of expertise, capstone topic, asset size of institution, and geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management :
Prepare accurate and timely reports including student demographic data and grade reports.
Maintain accurate student records, including production and delivery of transcripts, assignment completion, attendance records, and capstone grading.
Coordinate the process for product/program creation with event codes in Nimble/Salesforce. Partner with member services and marketing to update student application forms and tuition pricing.
Enroll students into specialized learning plans and utilize system tools and reports (as part of the ABA Schools Management platform) to track through completion.
Serve as the primary contact and liaison with ABA’s Nimble Salesforce team and Member Customer Support (MCS) to generate tuition cards and registration fee payments for 600-700 Stonier students each year.
Gather all capstone advisor information, including maintenance of capstone advising process and keep accurate records of capstone titles, executive summaries, and areas of advisor expertise. Works with curriculum director and program director to approve all topic submissions.
Extends annual invitations to capstone advisors, and manages graders and capstone advisors payments, according to ABA Finance requirements and supplier confirmation process.
-Ensure accurate records for advisors, and graders to include payments, areas of expertise, and contact information.
Manage student graduation operations including creation of the graduation program, maintain lists of students eligible for graduation and name cards for the ceremony.Communication & Engagement :
Develop and produce ongoing student communications leading up to the onsite session.
Maintain and manage Stonier communication portal [email protected].
Respond to student questions, requests, etc. in a timely and customer-centric manner.
Upload data reports and assist the program director in creating timely reports for meetings and presentations.
Financial :
Maintains accurate payment records for returning and new students.
Engages with the membership and accounting teams on Stonier invoicing to ensure the accuracy of tuition payments.
Maintain the Program’s annual deferred payment account and reconciliation with ABA finance/accounting.
Other duties as assigned by business needs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Liberal Arts, Communications, Education, or related field preferred or commensurate experience.
5+ years of program management experience with a strong customer service focus.
5+ years of program management experience working within a multi-dimensional work environment i.e. ability to successfully demonstrate flexibility and creativity, while maintaining excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the banking industry preferred.
Experience within a Professional Development Association, Academic setting, or related experience preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Self-directed with strong judgment and decision-making abilities required.
Knowledge of academic administration, and use of words and terms.
Excellent attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Experience working with multiple software systems including student management systems, Nimble/Salesforce, Aptify Education module, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Eloqua, as well as web publishing and Adobe.
