  Description:

  Position Summary:This position can be worked remotely.At BBU, the consumer insights group seeks people who endeavor to create a Competitive Advantage through Insights.The Senior Manager of Consumer Insights is a leader within the Marketing team.This person will champion Multi-Cultural Consumers with enthusiasm and thoughtfully business-savvy ways. Their unique role in the team will champion multi-cultural/multi-language efforts. The leader will support/set the strategy, define, oversee and/or execute and manage research methods, tools, and actionable, inspiring output.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this individual will be seen as a trusted partner, collaborator, a strong voice for the Consumer, and an expert on the market landscape and building insights for advertising.Ultimately responsible for driving/leading the acquisition of critical insights and strategic recommendations to drive growth initiatives for assigned brands/categories.The position is responsible for displaying a research mindset to support and drive the business, including building formal frameworks and methodologies while leveraging existing resources to build brand equity and drive profitable growth. Strong understanding of research principles is critical.The ideal candidate should be proficient in driving insights from qualitative and quantitative data and making those insights come to life in presentations.This individual will champion a data-centric perspective and approach to business decisions across the organization.

  Key Job Responsibilities:A change agent who will build and support evolving a marketing research function into a modern consumer insights department being the voice of multi-cultural consumers, with emphasis on Spanish language speaking consumers. Dual language (Spanish & English) is required.Proven track record of developing and deploying new ways to bring better insightful thinking, approaches, and ideas to brands; Pushing "past the status quo" is a must.Passion for methods to better understand consumer demand and needs (spoken or not)Support the development and rollout of critical initiatives to propel the organization to more consumer-centric thinking and activations, such as the BBU Way of Consumer Insights, inclusive of established standards, methodologies, and consistent metrics that matter to driving improved business outcomes.Help guide and mentor all functional team partners in building their capabilities while creating career advancement opportunities.Act with a broader business lens, delivering actionable consumer insights to inspire brand growth.Drive portfolio and brand-level consumer learning agendas to get to the heart of business situations while exploring new strategic opportunities with a curious mind to find new connections for profitable growth and brand building.Strong interpersonal skills and a heart for building effective working relationships with individuals at all levels and backgrounds of the organization.Champion multi-cultural consumer insights strategy and vision to support business needs and contribute to overall business strategy and thought leadership. Dual language (Spanish & English) is necessary.Critical areas impacted by this role will include roduct development, category management, capital investment initiatives, pricing, and promotion.Develop a research approach and analyze and synthesize results from consumer research studies, syndicated data, market audits, and internal data, along with other internal/external sources.Translate findings into business insights and action plan to support business performance.Collaborate with key business partners (leadership, sales, marketing, etc.) to identify insight needs and develop customized solutions.Participate in key customer presentations highlighting insight work and bringing selling stories to life.Serve as an internal consultant for critical stakeholders to develop business strategies rich in consumer insights.Collaborate with the team to build answers and outcomes and translate business needs into research plans.Develop an inventory of data tools and resources and a creative process to leverage and engage.Empower and coach associates to utilize where appropriate.Create streamlined reports using various sources, compiling results into a concise, meaningful, actionable format.#LI-JP1Position Requirements:

  Key Behavioral Competencies:Strong leadership cross-functional communication skills; Ability to collaborate and partner with people where there is no direct organizational authority.Self-starter with proven ability to think strategically, manage complexity and problem-solve.Positive, curious, creative, and innovative thinker with the ability to energize and influence.Excellent persuasive communication skills, written, verbal, and presentation.Ability to multi-task, organize time, and lead groups with minimal direction.Education and Work History:A Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, psychology, social studies, anthropology, or similar (6+ years in analytics/insights, showing career progression). Fluency in Spanish and English.Strong understanding of research principles and methodologies is critical as well as framing the research question and linking to best-in-class method and analysis. Knowledge of questionnaire design and how it links to the statistical analysis with the implications for sampling and appropriate recommendations.Demonstrated mastery of syndicated data systems and ability to incorporate insight into fact-based presentations.Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to generate business insights from diverse data sources.Computer skills and proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and other software/applications. PowerBI or similar experience preferred. Some experimentation / project experience using Gen AI assisted tools preferred.Domestic Travel: 10-20%
