What will you do?
Serve as the leader in the Condo and the new CMO business activities for Vaccines and Bio-products drugs, representing the client interests, while improving the sites financial position.
Direct and address all departments to get the expected results. Keeping in mind the Thermo Fisher values and objectives, give input to the main site’s functions (working in tandem with the Swindon business leaders) to deliver in time, in full and “Right first time” goods and services.
Lead all clients’ business relationship to ensure all issues are handled promptly and that all communications are timely and accurate.
Ensure plan execution is done in full respect of agreements and in compliance with Master Supply Agreement (MSA) and/or other relevant agreements with the client e.g., Technology Transfer Agreement (TTA) or Product Agreement (PA).
Quotations and Supply Agreements:
Agree the MSA /PA /TTA with clients, working closely with the Business Development (BD) Executive/Team and the Global Contract Services Team.
Review new business proposals to ensure alignment with financial commitments.
Ensure the correct assessment of the overall cost of a new or existing project (cost of production, capital requirements).
Ensure that all annual pricing updates are completed and delivered to the clients per their stated contracts.
Ensures that all MSA/PA requirements are completed, including pricing, payment terms, renewals, yield reconciliations, etc.
Technical Transfer / Project Management:
Coordinate TT activities and support to resolve the Technical Transfer (TT) issues with other sites functions to respect the timelines and technical activities committed to the client.
Work closely with TT and Project Managers to assume control of technical transfer projects upon validation.
Participate in and ensure projects between the sites and clients are implemented according to the project plan.
Own the identification and implementation of new initiatives with tools using PPI.
Collaborations Functions:
Coordinate all sites business activities with the BD group, Finance, Quotations and other internal functions.
Direct reporting line to the VP Business Management, Steriles with matrix approach to the Swindon GM, serve as an active member of the site's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and represent the business area in internal business review activities.
Serve in the Steriles Business Management Tech Transfer Leadership team.
Financial and Forecast Management:
Ensure commercial client forecasts are current and addressed in the local system.
Ensure forecasts for new products/ projects are assessed and posted into the AOP to reflect the best information on the opportunity.
Know all financial obligations within the MSA/PA and works with Finance to assure compliance.
Provide input and participate in the sites Business Plan and ongoing forecasts, including AOP and STRAP.
Talent:
Engage, mentor team members, and enable outstanding performance within the Business Management Technical Transfer (BMTT) team. Identify, attract, empower, and retain outstanding talents.
Build relevant development opportunities and provide mentorship.
Generate and implement individual development plan (IDP) for Business Managers. Defines Goals and Objectives for the BMTT team.
Who are we looking for?
Significant previous related experience in Project Management, Account Management, Sales, or Marketing with internal or external client-facing responsibilities.
Pharmaceutical industry or Contract Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Prior role with client interaction experience required.
Experience with quoting, budgeting and demand management.
