  Position Overview:

  The Senior Manager for Business Management & Development is a pivotal role within our organization that focuses on assessing and coordinating the influx of new scope/service requests from initiation to execution and hypercare. This role includes defining the scope with the requestors at the process and activity level. It also involves determining the feasibility and prioritizing scope to transition based on clear conditions. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts to calculate and validate the level of effort or frequency. The senior manager will act as a liaison between requestors and the finance hub operations, providing complete visibility into backlog and request status. They will also be the key partner with our outsourced partners and project manage the effective transition of scope. The ability to translate across the functional/technical divide and effectively project manage are required skills in order to be successful in this role. This is an individual contributor role.

  What You'll Do For Us:

  Develop/Maintain an efficient intake process and framework for new service requests.

  Assist requestors in defining the scope of work at both the process and activity level.

  Evaluate service requests and determine their viability and prioritisation based on established criteria.

  Collaborate with current subject matter experts to calculate or validate the required level of effort/frequency for each request.

  Act as a liaison between requestors and the finance hub operations team to provide full visibility into backlog and the status of current requests.

  Determine the need for budget transfers or other financial adjustments.

  Liaise with the Value Management Team if the scope needs to transition to our Managed Service provider.

  Manage all aspects of transitioning the project scope to the finance hub, including knowledge transfer, guided production, go-live, and stabilization.

  This role will require frequent collaboration with CPS, Operating Unit (OU), and Function teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  Qualifications and Requirements:

  Excellent project management skills with a focus on organization and detail-oriented performance

  Strong communication skills for acting as a liaison between various teams and clients.

  Ability to assist and advise clients on defining the scope of work

  Capacity for assessing service requests and prioritizing tasks based on viability.

  Proven experience developing and improving intake processes and frameworks.

  Financial acumen to effectively handle and manage budget adjustments.

  Bachelor's degree in business, project management, finance, or related field preferred.

  At least 6 or more years of experience with relevant examples of critical thinking and problem-solving.

  Strong management and organizational skills, adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
