　　About you and this role

　　Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Logistics Specialist located in Istanbul , Turkey !

　　As a key team member, you'll leverage your logistics knowledge and technical expertise to troubleshoot process or equipment issues, enhancing process performance and reliability across various transportation modes. Collaborating with key partners, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing operations regularly. Your specific modal expertise in Bulk Marine, Road, Rail, Warehousing, and Terminals will be essential.

　　In this dynamic role, you'll need a solid understanding of the core business drivers within your discipline. Your responsibilities include expanding your conceptual and working knowledge, offering informal guidance to new team members, and effectively communicating complex information.

　　Your expertise will be pivotal in analyzing and resolving straightforward problems using technical experience, personal judgment, and established practices. Your performance directly influences the quality of your work and that of your team, requiring adherence to established guidelines and policies.

　　Responsibilities

　　Utilize your logistics knowledge and technical expertise to address process or equipment issues, enhancing process performance and reliability.

　　Collaborate with technical advising and logistics operations personnel to devise methods for optimizing operations.

　　Engage in advanced troubleshooting and coach others in acquiring these skills while implementing best practices.

　　Interact with Dow's global regions to resolve order issues for inter-area shipments.

　　Ensure compliance with Most Effective Technology and specific operating discipline requirements.

　　Interface with third-party logistics providers, ensuring contractual obligations are met without penalties or fines.

　　Initiate changes to operating procedures to maintain validity and currency, and communicate technical information and issues to operations and technology teams.

　　Qualifications

　　University Degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or other Sciences

　　5 years of experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment

　　Fluent in Turkish, and a good working knowledge of English
