Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Information Technology Project Manager to join our team in the Ft. Detrick, MD area. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects.
Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
May serve as a Release Train Engineer or Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile environment, overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring successful Program Increment planning and execution.
Manages project planning, execution, delivery and issue resolution.
Builds and leads high-performing teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Drives the implementation or enhancement of business system and technology solutions while promoting continuous improvement in areas like DevSecOps"
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required
Experience working as an IT Project Manager utilizing Agile, Scrum or Kanban
Experience with DevSecOps
Experience or knowledge of SAFe
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, Scrum Master and SAFe certifications
Experience as an IT Project Manager managing SAP projects
Experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager supporting Defense Health Agency (DHA) IT projects."
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust suitability is required for this position.
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
