Position: Senior Indirect Tax Analyst

　　Job Description:

　　The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst will be responsible for all indirect taxes for the organization, including but not limited to analyzing, reviewing, and filing required returns and tracking associated due dates and payments. This position reports to and supports the Tax Manager.

　　Core Responsibilities & Duties:

　　Maintain the organization's compliance calendar for indirect taxes and confirm all taxes are being filed/paid where required/applicable

　　Oversee all invoices and bills associated with the annual returns and renewals and ensure they are received and paid in a timely manner

　　Responsible for all indirect tax files and that all support documents are maintained and complete and audit ready

　　Research, track and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise from notices related to indirect taxes

　　Maintains accurate documentation to ensure sufficient internal controls and to satisfy requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)

　　Performs ongoing review and research of domestic tax laws, court decisions, and administrative pronouncements to ensure the company's compliance and find opportunities for tax savings

　　Monitor and interpret tax law changes and the impact on tax positions and calculations

　　Research the needs or requirements of indirect taxes in the event of the opening of a new location or acquisition

　　Support internal and external audit requirements

　　Ability to adhere to inflexible deadlines for tax reporting

　　Ad-hoc tasks and/or projects as necessary

　　Provide ongoing support to Tax Manager as needed

　　Other duties as assigned

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required

　　CPA or Masters of Tax is a plus

　　4-5 years prior experience in corporate accounting or tax

　　A firm understanding of financial accounting practices and direct tax compliance is required

　　Strong accounting and analytical skills

　　Strong computer skills; proficient in Oracle and MS Office

　　Demonstrated ability to pay strict attention to detail, with a commitment to delivery of quality and accurate work products

　　Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team with little supervision

　　Skills:

　　The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude and “will do” work ethic

　　Ability to organize, prioritize, problem solve, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

　　Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization

　　Excellent communication and problem solving skills
