Our hydrogeologists serve a wide range of clients including private industry, attorneys, water purveyors, public utilities, and governmental bodies. Our projects range from hydrogeologic characterization to remedial investigations/feasibility studies to water resource management. We also work with stormwater, reclaimed water, and aquifer recharge. MM is seeking to hire a senior level hydrogeologist with expertise in environmental site management and compliance who can manage a broad range of responsibilities, including:Interpreting and analyzing various forms of geologic and hydrogeologic data to build conceptual models of groundwater flow systems.Determining the nature, extent, fate and transport of contaminants and source areas at environmental sites.Working independently, exercising professional judgment to develop and recommended solutions that meet client expectations and goals.Developing technical documentation and presentations.Managing projects and junior staffCandidate SpecificationYou are an experienced graduate working in hydrogeology with at least 8-15 years' experience in consulting capacity. The following qualifications and experience are preferred:MSc (or higher) in hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or similar discipline8-15 years' experience in environmental consultingLicensed geologist or hydrogeologist in the State of WashingtonExperience with assisting clients with MTCA complianceA solid understanding of hydrogeological principles and practices. Experience developing hydrogeological conceptual models and geologic framework models.Expertise with application of groundwater and soil remedial techniques, landfill experience preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills.
