Role and Responsibilities:As aLabor Relations and Training Specialist, you will have a pivotal role in fostering positive labor relations within our organization and ensuring our employees possess the knowledge and skills required to excel in their roles. Your key responsibilities include:
Labor Relations:
Overseeing the Investigation Process:Lead and manage the investigation process.Collaborating with Management and Labor Unions:Collaborate with management and labor unions to address labor-related issues and disputes.Advising on Labor Laws:Provide guidance on labor laws, regulations, and company policies.Participating in Negotiations:Engage in negotiations and grievance resolution processes.Tracking and Analyzing Trends:Monitor and analyze labor-related trends.Training and Development:
Assessing Training Needs:Evaluate the training needs of employees and departments.Designing Training Programs:Create, develop, and deliver training programs and materials.Evaluating Effectiveness:Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and implement improvements.Coaching and Mentoring:Provide coaching and mentoring to employees for skill enhancement.Developing Policies and Recommendations:Develop, interpret, manage, and recommend policies and practices based on workforce trends.Compliance:
Ensuring Compliance:Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.Implementing Corrective Actions:Recommend and implement corrective actions when necessary.Salary Range: $65,000 to $80,000
What do you need to be successful?To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
