Job Purpose
It is preferred that this role work onsite at our Global Corporate Headquarters in Reading, PA. Will work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in person/2 days remote)This position reports directly to the Director of Global Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning. The Senior Global Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for the implementation and standardization around global forecast planning processes and metrics through all lines of business at EnerSys
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Drive implementation of process and metric standardization across all forecast planning activitiesLeads forecasting monthly cycle for alignment amongst all EnerSys lines of business forecast planners & SIOP leadersIdentify key business discussions, issues and new product review that impact both short- and long-term forecast planningDriver of a proactive expectation around metric root cause analysis and actions to improve forecasting ability and accuracyAlign with Supply Planning Management for thorough understanding of forecast change impact to both near and long-term horizon supply planningKey player in system implementation of a globalized forecasting tool and statistical modeling techniques for advanced forecasting methods
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Experience.5 or more years of forecast planning experience3 or more years of forecast planning leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams or projects and influencing key stakeholders including senior and executive managementKnowledge and experience with forecast planning software implementationExperience in forecast planning with manufacturing company preferredExperience in organizing and leading effective teamsExcellent communicational skillset with emphasis on relationship buildingExcellent Microsoft office skillsAmbitious, personable, proactive and career minded individual with a minimum of 3+ years' management experience.
