Kelly Science is seeking a Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist for a client based in New England. This position will be remote with 50% travel requirement to project sites. The majority of the travel will be within the Boston Area but could expand to other New England states depending on the projects.

Summary:
The Senior Geologist will provide site investigation, geologic, hydrogeologic, and remediation services to projects of the U.S Environmental Protection Agency, U.S Air Force, U.S Army Corps of Engineers, U.S Department of Defense, U.S Department of Energy and other federal and state government clientele.
Job Duties Include:
Designing, managing and conducting environmental field investigations and remediation projects at hazardous waste/contaminated sites.
Supervising and supporting environmental and engineering projects and tasks involving characterization and remediation of impacted soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater.
Overseeing of drilling and monitoring well installations using multiple drilling technologies, borehole geophysics, packer tests, and pumping tests.
Performing data analysis and the interpretation of field and analytical data. Implementing data quality control processes when needed.
Preparing mathematical groundwater and conceptual site models.
Preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.
Reviewing and authoring technical reports.
Managing project schedules and budgets.
Interacting with clients and supervising the field crews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology or a related scientific field.
10+ years of relevant working experience
Extensive experience designing and implementing environmental investigation, remediation, design, and/or construction projects for federal agencies.
Knowledge of appropriate methodologies for groundwater, surface water, soil, and sediment sampling at CERCLA and RCRA sites.
Experience performing and evaluating hydrogeologic and aquifer testing methods.
Strong project management skills, communication skills, and ability to manage a team.
Must have OSHA HAZWOPER certification upon employment.
