Job Summary
Provide financial support and day-to-day reporting and operational analysis for the various teams that support Commercial product development. Partner with the product team to help the leaders understand trends in their business and evaluate investment opportunities.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Prepare and review key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with other analysis of performance.
Prepare and submit journal entries for any needed reclasses or accruals.
Ensure all cost centers within the group you support are reviewed on at least a quarterly basis for accuracy.
Work with the teams to provide input for the rolling forecast process.
Respond timely and thoughtfully to ad-hoc financial requests and ROI analysis.
Present results to team leaders, identifying key trends in performance.
Identify areas for processes improvements across all areas and participate in Art of the Possible events, as appropriate.
Provide support and reporting to the Product Management, Product Engineering, and Commercial Operations teams.
What We Are Looking For In You
Financial Knowledge: Understands and can analyze month-end income statements and balance sheets; experience processing journal entries is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it; exhibits a curious mind and provides actionable insights.
Attention to detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
System Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and Query Tools (PowerBI, OneStream, and Oracle).
Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams throughout the business.
Problem Solving: Provides practical solutions to problems, participates in product group and matrix partner kaizen events.
Communication: Ability to communicate clearly across multiple channels of communication (verbal, email, PowerPoint).

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar area of study
MBA preferred
4+ years of financial analysis experience
Conceptual understanding of US GAAP

The range for this position is $74,700 to $139,900. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
