The team is dedicated to inspiring better business performance and helping clients focus on their core businesses.The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of corporate annual budgeting, multi-department budgeting and the business plan process. The Senior Financial Analyst demonstrates BGIS values in communications with clients and team members.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManagement Functions* Partner with business units to provide company-wide reports of financial plans* Interface with departments, senior management, and business users to map out and document business reporting requirementsFinancial Planning and Analysis* Prepare the corporate strategic planning process including business planning, investment business cases, and annual budget/forecast processes* Formulate the forecast for future business financial needs* Analyze, evaluate, and maintain an understanding of the client's business model/processes to ensure efficiency across financial functions and profitability* Create various financial reports to help drive financial strategies and business unit performance* Manage monthly and quarterly company and department financial statements, business planning and financial reporting and analysis.* Process ad-hoc reporting requestsFinancial Reporting, Accounting & Compliance* Ensure timely completion of full cycle accounting.* Own all balance sheet reconciliations* Support company accounts and unbilled receivables reviews and cash flow forecasts* Manage the monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reporting process* Preparation and compilation of financial reporting packages- internal & to client* Responsible for the accuracy of the financial information* Collaborate with the client finance counterparts on month end close activities* Preparation of all reporting deadline calendars* Ensure accounting operations are Audit compliant/SOX* Implements changes to improve use and efficiency of accounting processes and procedures* Support during client monthly financial review meetings.Financial Management & Client Support* Work with internal operational, accounts payable, finance and vendor stakeholders to ensure efficient management of the accounts payable process* Identify and conduct root cause analysis of gaps within payable process, recommend and implement changes that serve data integrity, improved reporting, efficient processing cycle and as well drive efficiencies within the payable team* Efficient management of accounts and unbilled receivables, as well as other working capital accounts* Triage customer billing issues and vendor payments when they arise by taking the lead in working with various internal and external parties* Be the point of escalation for issues, problems or gaps within Finance that affect internal or external customers* Client support - ensure timely and accurate billing to client adhering to client's internal accounting requirements, which in turn results in timely payment. Be a point of contact for addressing any queries from client or client groups and satisfactorily resolve any issues relating to financial information or documentation.
