This position serves as a key member of the Global Operations and Supply Chain FP&A team, supporting the lead for Inventory & Volume. The role will partner with Global Operations Finance Business Partners, our global manufacturing FP&A & center of excellence (COE) teams and our Global Supply Chain function. The role will support ensuring GOSC FP&A processes, timelines, reporting, and analysis deliver on our business objectives.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the FP&A processes centered around volume-related reporting and forecasting in support of the East manufacturing region.
This role is critical to deliver on the financial commitments, and continuously drive improvements, standardization, and efficiencies within our FP&A processes. The successful candidate will partner within GOSC to report, analyze, forecast, and articulate our GOSC financial performance.

A Day in the Life
Strategic Financial Leadership
Maintain an understanding of the interdependencies of Production Volume & Inventory and how operational performance is translated to financial results.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Site Operations & Finance partners, Global Manufacturing FP&A, and Global Supply Chain to develop processes, analyses and presentation content that transforms data into storytelling to influence our financial performance.
Independently operate as a seasoned individual contributor working under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions.
Support and manage projects / processes supporting GOSC and key stakeholders.
Functional Excellence and Business Partnering
Support the preparation and presentation of GOSC analysis, KPIs, financial performance commentary, and forecasting to various levels of management.
Proactive business partnering with stakeholders in the analysis of trends and anomalies in results.
Partner cross-functionally in preparation of the AOP and quarterly forecasts
Improve processes, systems, and tools to enhance performance of our team and the broader GOSC organization.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 2+ years)Nice to Have
Strong financial analysis and accounting skills
Is a team player in a matrix structure with strong communication/ presentation skills.
Working Experience supporting Manufacturing and familiarity with cost accounting principals
Experience with business intelligence and reporting systems would be an advantage.
Global Experience, working in large, complex, matrix organizations.
Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating actionable insights and analysis.
Experience with Medtronic financial systems: SAP, Essbase/Hyperion & Business Objects.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Fluent in English

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
