  This role, due to the nature of work being completed or the equipment used on site, requires in-office presence on a full-time basis. This helps to ensure you are set up for success based on the job responsibilities.

  This role will be based in Mountain View.

  Senior Executive Support Engineer

  LinkedIn’s End User Support team is looking for an energetic Senior Executive Support Engineer with a strong technical background to provide technical support and consulting services on all IT related matters, including laptop and desktop hardware, peripherals, desktop and mobile phones. The successful candidate must be capable of providing optimum customer service to a wide variety of users through professional commitment and dedication. This candidate must also be able to adapt to change and learn quickly in a highly dynamic environment.

  Responsibilities

  Provide onsite technical support to LinkedIn’s executive staff

  Troubleshoot multiple computer and mobile platforms: Mac, Windows, Android and iOS

  Provide advanced support for multiple enterprise applications including: e-mail, calendar scheduling, presentations, Internet browsers, as well as department-specific applications

  Support and troubleshoot video conference equipment, for both onsite and offsite events

  Provision and manage equipment for the LinkedIn Leadership Team (mobile phone, desktop peripherals, laptops and desktops)

  Identify and implement innovative solutions customized to the Exec's requirements

  Flexibility to extended hours or modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situations

  Monitor operational and performance statistics for systems.

  Create and maintain technical documentation regarding design documents, operational drawings/guides

  Gain deep knowledge of our complex applications and use it to debug user productivity issues

  Hold other teams accountable for flawlessly implementing solutions

  Assist in the roll-out and deployment of new product features and installations to facilitate our rapid iteration and constant growth.

  Work closely with development teams to ensure that platforms are designed with "operability" in mind.

  Function well in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.

  Participate in a 24x7 rotation for on-call support escalations.

  Basic Qualifications

  B.S./B.A. in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  5+ years of experience providing white glove support to executive staff

  3+ years of experience in end user support, systems engineering and management

  5+ years of experience with Multi Operating System & Mobile Platforms (Windows)

  5+ years of advanced administration of Office 365 Applications

  Experience in Programming / Scripting using one of the following languages (Bash, Python, Perl, Powershell)

  This job may require occasional travel along with evening and weekend shifts.

  Preferred Qualifications

  5+ years in a large-scale infrastructure role.

  5+ years of experience with Azure / Office 365 Suite Implementation / Integration.

  Exposure and support of virtualized desktops and applications.

  Interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work in a diverse, team-focused environment with other site reliability engineering, Product Managers, etc.

  LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is [$88,000 to $145,000]. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
