  Responsibilities

  Reporting to the Senior Director of Enterprise Strategy, the Senior Enterprise Strategy Associate will lead analytical activities to drive strategy development for market-based and enterprise-based strategy initiatives.

  To be successful, the Senior Enterprise Strategy Associate will need to work collaboratively with cross functional teams that will likely include Operations, Development, Business Development, Managed Care, and will span SCA Health business units, including ASCs, Specialty Practices, Health Innovation Value Enterprise, and Emergent Services Lines and Businesses to bring an analytical and nationally- informed approach to markets.

  Role Profile

  Own Enterprise Strategy Team tools, systems, infrastructure and lead continued infrastructure development:

  Partner with cross functional teams to build, maintain, promote, and educate on market intelligence tools / resources, Market Evaluation Framework, Sales Compendium and Market Strategy tools and resources

  Build and maintain infrastructure for enterprise strategy team including project management, best practice documentation, onboarding, integration with Underwriting Team, and others

  Support Enterprise Strategy Team in working with select market-based teams and enterprise initiatives:

  Understand SCA Health’s strategy, value proposition, business units, key value drivers, and applicability to develop conceptual frameworks and create messaging across SCA’s business units (ASCs, Specialty Practices, HiVE, etc.)

  Support industry analyses, nationwide opportunity / market identification and prioritization, multi-site strategy, and development of national strategic partnerships

  Support strategy development in specific markets, with focus on quarterbacking market research / targeting, evaluating strategic partners, and value proposition development

  Build the organization’s ability to leverage data to drive strategy development:

  Serve as the subject matter expert for market intelligence data sources / uses and partner with underwriting team, market teams, others to model best practices in data synthesis and strategy development

  Quarterback analytics across teams to drive strategy development for market or enterprise based initiatives

  Oversee work of senior analysts and analysts to help synthesize and produce informative data points to drive strategic development (market evaluations, site of service initiatives, market research, etc.)

  Qualifications

  Required Skills and Abilities

  Able to identify key issues and creatively and strategically overcome internal and external obstacles

  Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of key constituent relationships internally and externally

  Ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with external strategic partners and physicians

  High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability with strong communication skills

  Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, process orientation, and execution skills

  A strong sense for diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people-management skills

  Exceptional communication and presentation skills required

  Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  Work Experience

  Strategic planning and business development across various markets

  Working knowledge of innovative healthcare business models that focus on the quadruple aim

  Experience in healthcare services, ambulatory care, integrated delivery systems and/or physician practice management

  Solid foundation of general management principles and strong financial acumen achieved through a minimum of 5+ years’ experience

  Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, health management or similar field is preferred

  USD $101,200.00/Yr. USD $184,200.00/Yr.
