About the role
As Senior Engineer, Technical & Sales for Carrier, you are responsible in managing multiple engineering projects or processes across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer, Technical & Sales, you'll be responsible for:
Provides application and system solution in design and technical supports to Sales Engineers
Provides engineering sales supports like equipment selection, technical specifications, equipment’s schedule and quotation to Sales Engineer
To support Sales Engineers in preparing tender and quotation preparation.
Provides system comparison & analyze products & technical information
To submit the activities reports to supervisor promptly and accurately.
Enforce, perform, support and comply CMB EH&S Programs and UTC Code of Ethics.
To focus on Commercial and Light Commercial
To expand sales support coverage at SEAP region
Support Sales force on selections and quotations submission to increase Sales facetime with customers.
Win-loss analysis to drive improvement actions
Sales/Orders expansion
Under minimal direction, plans, prioritizes, and manages multiple engineering projects; prioritizes tasks to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met.
Manages several components of a large scale, complex, or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.
Manages major responsibilities across multiple engineering disciplines on a regular basis.
Performs complex engineering activities that may not be attributed to a defined discipline and provides guidance to other employees.
With some direction, creates and implements common procedures and standards for routine work across the organization.
Requirements:
As a minimum you must have:
Possess Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
Knowledge and direct experience in air conditioning preferred
Minimum 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.
Possess initiative, determination and drive to implement programs and activities.
Customer Focus, Excellent communication and listening skills.
Leadership and management skills.
Ability to work independently.
Knowledge in Heat Load Estimation and AutoCAD program preferred
