  As a OCT Modeling Engineer, you will be a central contact for the manufacturing network, calculating and presenting capital impacts of process changes to senior leaders in manufacturing and R&D. You will be responsible for connecting many parts of the business in order to drive the execution of manufacturing and cost-savings processes, including supply chain, finance, engineering, procurement, production, and planning.

  Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  Manage network tool utilization strategies and benchmark performance to optimize the company's deployed capital

  Manage and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturing

  Optimize capacity of installed equipment and lead site and tool-level optimization studies for efficiency improvement

  Collaborate with partners to understand the future tool and process roadmaps, and calculate network capacity impacts of process changes

  Design, track, and communicate capital change proposals to manufacturing senior leaders through reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) and formal presentation

  Build and implement tools and dashboards to audit the current planning processes and uncover cost reduction opportunities across the company

  Apply new (e.g. Python, Tableau, etc) and traditional (Excel, VBA, SQL, etc) methods to improve and automate tasks in the planning system/models in collaboration with partners

  Improve financial analyses before new capital equipment are purchased through automating metrics optimization, process flexibility, capacity sharing, and equipment repurpose

  Minimum Requirements:

  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Business-related or quantitative field (Finance, Economics, or similar subject area). MBA or Master's degree is a plus

  Experience turning complex and ambiguous problem statements into structured solutions while working in a highly multi-functional environment

  Experience operating independently while maintaining a high degree of organization and control

  Experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, and reporting results across diverse technical and non-technical groups

  Experience working in teams, establishing and maintaining multi-functional and working relationships

  Experience in a Semiconductor Equipment or Processes is advantageous but not essential

  Experience in a combination of capacity planning, business analyst and / or process analyst roles is advantageous but not essential

  Experience in crafting and developing web-based reporting metrics (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python, Tableau) is advantageous but not essential
